About Us
We have just celebrated our sixteenth year as being an “artist”.
Beginning at the young age of 61. Began as something to do besides my consulting
business. Over the 15 years we have developed from a beginner, having no training, to
an accomplished artist. I recognized it in 2006, when I was awarded the “Excellence
Award” at an art show. As I said at the time “today I guess I am an artist and last
week I could not even spell it”. Over these 15 years I have had the pleasure of doing
over 300 home, business, animal, and scene commissioned sketches, along with selling
hundreds of prints and originals of mostly area landmarks.
I enjoy capturing the beauty of all things on paper for future remembrance along with
allowing my friends and associates the means to retain memories of their associations,
whether it is a sunset, a landmark, a home, a business, a pet, a tree, a mountain, fall
foliage, the art of famous artists, and the list goes on and on.
Philosophy – Earth is a Heaven.
My objective is to supply fine art to you who relate to my work at a price you can afford
or are willing to pay. If you enjoy viewing a certain piece of my art I want you to have
it. Just let me know. About one half of my originals I give away and the other half I
sell.
Note: I handle all my art myself, I am not interested in working through an agent or a
gallery. At the present time, I have a store at the Millcreek Mall.
Method:
My art is one of a kind. The method of sketching and adding color was developed by
me over a period of six months and has continually progressed over these years
Three types of art I do:
1 – Realism Art: this is producing a sketch that is drawn and colored as near to reality
that I am capable of accomplishing. These are generally produced from photographs.
2 – Inspiration Art: These are created from self consciousness. I begin with a thought
and I continue to drawn until I have a completed piece of art. As a person once told her
husband, after being situated in her booth beside mine in a show for a couple of days,
“this guy just scribbles and a picture appears”.
3 – Appreciation Art: I enjoy “copying” art of famous artists from their oils and water
colors to my style and method. Doing a sketch of a famous artist’s work is the same as
doing a sketch from a photo.
Personally:
I am seventy eight years of age, marries my second wife of six years after losing my
first wife of forty nine years. Have two children, five grandchildren, seven great
grandchildren, and gained from my second wife Betty, four children and their families
including nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Live in a townhouse, Erie, Pa.
I am a business consultant and writer of a book “Result Orientation” and business
instructor.
I am an inspiration consultant and instructor (in home seminars), writer of four books
and working on the fifth pertaining to spiritual growth and empowerment.
